Introduction
Archangelos House is a modern three bedroom semi-detached house with a lounge and through dining room, fully fitted kitchen,rear patio, off road parking, which is attached to our private house on a quiet residential estate overlooking the town of Horwich. The following statements will provide you with information about our provision but if there is anything you wish us to clarify please contact us directly. Pre-Arrival
* Archangelos has a comprehensive website. * We can be contact via our website, email or telephone. * Directions are available from our website, as an email attachment, or sent via conventional post. * Horwich town center is 10 mins walk away with a limited serviced bus stop 2 mins walk at the end of the road. More frequent buses to Bolton and Wigan can be boarded at the terminus 5 mins walk away. * The nearest train station is at Blackrod 1 1/2 miles away or Horwich Parkway 3 miles away. * Local taxi firms operate from Horwich town center. * Smoking is allowed outside on the patio away from open doors and windows. * Special dietary needs can be catered for by prior arrangement. * Tourism awarded Welcome Host, Welcome All, Welcome to Excellence accredited business. * Electric mobile chairs available from Horwich Resource Centre - Tel (01204) 668157.
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
* Off road parking for seven cars on sloping concrete frontage with dropped pavement. The slope is down towards the house. * House entrance is on the left of the concrete frontage. * We can assist guests with luggage. * An up & over garage door is to the left of the entrance.
Main Entrance & Reception
* The entrance has a blocked paved step 900mm height x 500mm radius. * The door is a left hand hinged double glazed type 790mm wide x 1900mm high with a 95mm thresher. The keyhole slot is 970mm up from the step. * Entrance hallway is 1300mm wide x 1700mm long with a short pile carpet and rubber backed door matting. Facing is a flight of stairs and to the right is a pair of glazed doors giving one half opening size of 680mm wide. * Audible linked smoke alarms are fitted to the entrance and stairwell.

Restaurant / Dining Room, Bar & Lounges, Take Away & Cafe Dining Area
* One extendable central legged dining table sits in the middle of the dining area 930mm wide x 1950mm long x 730mm high under space (extended). * There are six moveable chairs. * Free space between 3 sides of the table is 550mm whilst the fourth side faces into the through lounge. * A full wall French window allows natural light in. * A ceiling mounted light is above the table. * Both table and chairs are moveable. * Light coloured short pile carpet extends from living room into dining area. Lounge * Two leather armchairs and one three-seater settee with arms - 380mm high to seat. * One coffee table with inlaid toughened glass top. * One moveable nest of tables. * One television, video, DVD, freeview box with remote controls all housed on a common stand. * Large patterned short pile rug central to the lounge area. * Fully carpeted light coloured short pile through to dining area and contrasting white walls. * Ceiling mounted three bulb light fitting and on free standing standard lamp. * An audible smoke alarm is fitted to the ceiling.
Laundry
* There is no separate laundry but there is a front loading washing machine in the kitchen and a drying line outside on the patio * There is a clothes drying horse.

Outdoor Facilities
* A patio area can be accessed via the rear door from the kitchen. * The door is a right hand hinged half double glazed type opening inwards 730mm wide x 1920mm high with a 230mm high thresher. The key slot is 940mm up from the floor. * A set of four steps the full width of the house 150mm high x 400mm deep descends to a patio area. * The left side has a wrought iron fence. The right side has an adjoining gate into next door and wooden panel fencing. * The patio is of old paving slabs with some irregularities covering the width of the property and up the left side of the house to the back of the garage. * Patio plastic furniture (lounger, table and chairs) are available for guests to use. * A wrought iron gate and fence to the left of the patio secures access to the descending irregular stone and concrete steps leading to the lower terraced gardens. * The far right and left have been planted up by removing the end paving slabs. * Directly in front is a raised bed 400mm high x 920mm deep providing a wall to the terrace below.

* There are three bedrooms accessed from the landing at the top of the stairs. * There are thirteen stairs 180mm high x 240mm deep covered with a light coloured short pile carpet.
* Rear Twin Bedroom
*Door width of 720mm wide. * One bed is behind the open door along the side wall with its head against the outside wall. * A drawer unit is separating the two beds by 900mm each measuring 930mm wide x 620mm high to mattress. * A rug is on the floor between the two beds. * A free standing wardrobe and a set of drawers are on the right hand wall. * A wall mounted television is above the set of drawers, remote controlled with a freeview box. * A double glazed window is between the two beds. * A ceiling light is switched at the side of the door, and a lamp is on the drawers between the beds. * Polyester duvets and pillows with polyester/cotton covers. * An audible smoke alarm is fitted to the ceiling.
* Front Twin Bedroom
* Door width of 720mm hinged on right opening inwards. * Beds are 940mm wide x 530mm high to mattress. * Polyester duvets and pillows with polyester/cotton covers. * One bed is behind the open door along the side wall with its head against the outside wall. * A drawer unit separates the two beds by 620mm. * A close weaved dark coloured rug is between the beds. * A set of wardrobes and a set of drawers are on the left hand wall. * A wall mounted television is above the set of drawers remote controlled with freeview box. * A double glazed window is between the two beds. * A ceiling light is switched at the side of the door and a lamp is on the drawers at the side of the beds. * An audible smoke alarm is fitted to the ceiling.
* Front Single Bedroom
* Door width 720mm hinged on right opening inwards. * Built in single wardrobe behind open door. * Built in bed 600mm high to mattress along right hand wall to outside wall with cupboards underneath. * A bookcase is on the left hand wall. * Polyester duvets and pillows with polyester/cotton covers. * Tight weaved contrasting coloured rug is between the bed and bookcase. * A ceiling light is switched at the side of the door and a lamp is on the bookcase. * Double glazed window is on outside wall opposite the door. * A wall mounted television is at the side of the window remote controlled with freeview box. * An audible smoke alarm is fitted to the ceiling.
Bathroom, Shower-room & WC [Ensuite or Shared]
* Accessed from the landing at the top of the stairs. * Door width 720mm. * Vinyl flooring. * Light switch with extract fan and shower switch are located on the wall outside the room. * Shower cubical step is 160mm high with sliding doors giving 470mm wide x 1730mm high access. * The height to the shower control is 1600mm. * A hand rail is fixed to the wall inside the shower. * The pedestal wash basin is 820mm high with lever operated mixer taps. * The toilet is to the left of the basin with a free space of 220mm to the right and 420mm to the left with 450mm to the front. The seat is 420mm high. * There is a wall mounted double fronted mirrored cupboard. * There is a shaving socket to the right of the hand basin and there is a mirror above the radiator. * The walls are tiled beige with porcelain white.
Self-Catering Kitchen
* Kitchen is entered through an open archway from the dining area 790mm wide. * The floor is a wood effect non slip vinyl. * There are base and cupboard units fitted against all three walls with the fourth wall having the door to the outside. * Worktop height is 920mm x 600mm deep. * Electric halogen hob with electric oven under. * Refrigerator under worktop with freezer compartment. * Sink and drainer let into worktop with mixer tap. * Front loading washing machine under worktop. * Electric extract hood above hob. * Spot lights fitted to ceiling. * Wall mounted cupboards above worktops with lowest shelf being 1400mm up from floor. * Microwave oven on worktop.
